PRESENTATION TO BRUCE LAMBERT

 

 

Bruce Lambert was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 1970.  In 1977, he received an honorary Doctor of Science degree from the University of New South Wales and also in that year he was made an honorary fellow of the Australian Institute of Cartographers.  In 1988, he was made an honorary fellow of the Institution of Surveyors, Australia.

 

The above photo (taken by Murray dePlater in 1988) shows Bruce at his home in the Canberra suburb of Forrest being presented with his honorary fellowship certificate by members of the Institution of Surveyors, Australia Canberra Division;  (L-R) Brian Murphy, Col Fuller (partly obscured), Klaus Leppert and Peter O’Donnell.
